Enrolling at Bordeaux INP
Many opportunities for mobility are available for international students who wish to study at Bordeaux INP.
In France, the title of Engineer is equivalent to a Master's level degree and allows students to access Doctoral studies. French engineering schools are internationally renowned for their professional focus, combining engineering and management expertise.
At Bordeaux INP, engineering programmes are designed to reflect scientific and technical advances, in close collaboration with businesses to meet their needs. In addition to acquiring scientific and technical knowledge, students learn about the humanities and develop management skills.
Enrol at Bordeaux INP to study or carry out research
Academic exchange and dual degree programmes
Bordeaux INP welcomes exchange students for a semester or for an entire year.
Admissions
Before applying, you must:
- Check that a partnership exists between Bordeaux INP and your home institution.
- Obtain authorisation from your home institution.
Applying
- before 15 May for an entire year or for the 1st semester (September-January)
- before 30 October for the 2nd semester (January-June)
You must submit:
- a CV
- a covering letter
- planned programme of studies
- academic transcript with marks
- proof of your language level
To enrol at certain Bordeaux INP schools, you must also provide additional documents.
Academic stay not affiliated with an exchange programme or Master of Science
Foreign students may also enrol individually (not as part of exchange programme) to obtain a Bordeaux INP degree.

Applying
Foreign students residing in a country included in the CEF procedure
The CEF procedure is compulsory in the following 35 countries: Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo-Brazzaville, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Mauritania, Mexico, Peru, Senegal, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam, United States.
It is intended for French-speaking students only.
Students must apply online on the Etudes en France website.
Foreign students residing in France or in a country not included in the CEF procedure
Students must apply online on the Apoflux website. Applications may be submitted from March to June.

Research project
This is an internship at a research laboratory, supervised by a Bordeaux INP research professor. The project must focus on specific topic or field. Its duration is assessed in consultation with the Academic Director.
Admissions
The research project is open to Bachelor-level students and above. Students may carry out research projects at the 11 joint research laboratories in which Bordeaux INP participates.
Projects may last from one week to six months.Before applying you must:
- Check that a partnership exists between Bordeaux INP and your home institution
- Obtain authorisation from your home institution

Students also have the opportunity to design a "tailor-made" programme combining study and research.
